Definitely made-to-order and not off a giant wedding list, but we suspected the seafood (clams, mussels, squid) were cooked sous vide separately and combined with a freshly-cooked pasta in a painstakingly pre-made (but home-made) sauce. The 2 pastas were amazing.a ravioli filled with fish with a tomato-eggplant-guanciale sauce, and probably the best seafood tagliatelle we have ever had. The mullet tartare was interesting.not my choice of fish to eat raw, but it tuned out ok.

The fried octopus on a bed of potato cream was divine.really hard to get octopus done right and they "tempura'd" it.my guess is they sous vide the octopus then flash fry it in tempoura batter.anyway, super super tasty. We decided to be adventurous with a starter, pasta and main each (no desserts), and our efforts were well rewarded. When we say the limited menu, we were a little nervous as there was 4 of everything.4 starters, 4 pastas, 4 mains, 4 desserts to choose from, and we wondered if they were just serving an a la carte menus to other guests off the wedding menu. However, when we informed them of our reservation, they led us to a quiet corner of the (lovely) convent, away from the wedding party. a wedding going on, which compounded our fears. So based on the reviews and descriptions we expected this to be more of a conference/wedding/event venue type place.

I don't know if this is meant to be kept a closely-guarded secret, but this place does a la carte. You’d be hard pressed to find a better wedding venue in Sardinia I’m sure!! More I can’t recommend this venue and it’s lovely staff enough. They were kind, helpful and generally great all night. Thirdly the staff, our waiting staff and the head waiter (sorry can’t remember his name :( was brilliant and made it super easy to find them and ask for help. Utterly fantastic and present on the night when it most mattered despite having another big wedding in the other half of the venue.

She organised everything in-house for us and if it was something they didn’t organise themselves she sourced someone who could help us. My wife would have been a bag of nerves had it not been for Sarah’s determination to go above and beyond expectation time and time again. Secondly, Sarah, our wedding planner was an absolute delight, we live in Australia and despite being on the other side of the world she made us feel super comfortable and confident. gorgeous old convent, a decoration in itself! We had our wedding here in May of this year and it was utterly perfect from start to finish.įirstly the venue itself is a. There is nothing I can say about this venue and the staff that work here which will do them justice.
